If a take doesn't look right
- The two versions look like different people
- Use photos where your face is front-facing in both, and an old photo that isn't too blurry or tiny.
- The old photo comes out washed out or grainy
- Scan the print or photograph it flat in daylight without glare before uploading.

Which photos do I need?
Two photos of you: an older one from when you were already an adult, and a recent one. Face clear, chest up, one person in each.
Can I use a childhood photo?
No. Photos that show children can't be used, so pick an older photo of you as an adult, for example from 10 or 20 years ago.
My old photo is a faded print. Will it work?
Usually, yes. Scan it or photograph it flat in daylight. Both versions of you are placed in the same ordinary, natural-light phone photo, so a faded print doesn't look out of place.
How long does it take?
Usually 2 to 4 minutes. You can leave the page open or come back to your library later; the take is saved there when it's ready.
