Terms of service

These terms cover your use of MagicTakes (magictakes.com), a service that turns photos you upload into short AI-generated videos called takes. By creating an account or making a take you agree to them.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 to use MagicTakes. Keep access to your email secure: anyone with your sign-in link can use your account.

What you upload

Only upload photos you took or have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, and never photos of children. You keep the rights to your photos; you give us permission to process them only to make your takes and run the service. Our acceptable use policy lists what is not allowed.

Your takes

Takes are generated by AI models and can be imperfect. You may use your takes for personal and commercial purposes, as long as the photo you used was yours to use. Takes are marked as AI-generated in their file information; do not present them as real footage of real events.

Credits and payments

• Credits are bought in one-time packs. They do not expire and have no cash value.
• A take reserves its credits when it starts. If it cannot be made, the credits return to your balance automatically.
• Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase by emailing magictakes@sudoai.net.
• Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record and handles sales tax and VAT.
• Your first take is free, once per person.

Ending the service

We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the acceptable use policy. If we ever shut MagicTakes down, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund unused credits from purchases made in the previous 12 months.

Liability

MagicTakes is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
